Project iGuardian: Public Information Session

5th Session: Lincoln Academy, 81 Academy Hill Rd, Newcastle ME

Open to all parents and high school students

Project iGuardian is an educational initiative of the Department of Homeland Security that focuses on "keeping children & teens safe from online predators through education & awareness." Sessions include "information about the dangers of online environments, how to stay safe online, and how to report abuse and suspicious activity."

Chris Fitzpatrick of the DHS will lead information sessions at five locations in Lincoln County in August and September. Each information session will last one hour, with a 45 minute presentation and 15 minutes at the end for questions and conversation. Parents may attend any session alone or bring their students, but please take note of the student age recommendations to determine if the session is suitable for your student.
