Healthy Kids is proud to partner with Project Wellness, a new community initiative founded by Jean Reed and Alison Kelsey Bryant to help ensure every child in Lincoln County has access to basic hygiene essentials.
No child should have to go without the basic necessities needed to stay healthy, confident, and ready to learn. With the support of our community, we hope to provide these essential supplies to as many Lincoln County students as possible.
Helping Kids Thrive, Together
Through community donations, fundraising events, and partnerships with local youth, Project Wellness assembles and distributes free hygiene kits to children and teens where they live, learn, and gather. This summer, kits will be available at Lincoln County libraries, the YMCA locations in Damariscotta and Boothbay, and the Wiscasset Community Center, with plans to expand into local schools as the new school year begins.
Each kit includes everyday essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, combs, brushes, razors, shaving cream, and feminine hygiene products. Together, we're helping ensure every child has access to the basic items they need to feel healthy, confident, and ready to thrive.
